Fox News reports that the first week of tracking for the “The Runaways” is on pace to be the biggest of the year.
Fox News’ Catherine Herridge reports.
The Fox News tracking average has the movie up to $6.9 million, which is up from the $5.4 million for the first weekend of tracking.
That means the movie is up 5.5% from last weekend.
The first week has already topped the previous record for a Fox News release in 2016 with $3.5 million for “The Hangover Part III.”
That film was also up about 10% from its second week of March, which was the same period of the 2016 election.
Fox reported Tuesday that the film had earned $2.5 billion worldwide.
