Purolated hurricanes and typhoons are now making landfall in Puerto Rico.
Hurricane Maria is a category 5 storm that’s expected to make landfall later on Friday and the Purolators are expected to come ashore early on Saturday.
Maria is also expected to cause significant damage to the island.
Puerto Rico’s governor says at least 4.5 million people will be without power by the end of the week.
Maria could cause major disruptions in the island’s economy.
In the meantime, Puerto Rico residents are struggling to cope with the flooding that has crippled the island, and residents are also facing a shortage of supplies.
